    Police Seeking Suspect in Chapel Ridge Apartments Shooting

    Texarkana Arkansas Police are seeking the suspect accused of shooting her own sister in the parking lot of the Chapel Ridge Apartments on Wednesday night. If you have information on the whereabouts of Shaunteka Coulter contact TAPD at (903) 798 3154 and ask to speak to Sgt. Briggs or call 911.Media Release:

    Last night at 11:50 pm, officers were dispatched to Chapel Ridge Apartments in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located, Jakenya Coulter, lying face down in the parking lot. Jakenya told officers she had been shot in the stomach. Officers located a gun shot wound and provided medical attention on scene until she was later transported to a local hospital.
    The victim told officers she was shot by her sister, Shuanteka Coulter, during an argument. Further investigation led to the identity of the suspect and a warrant was issued this morning. Jakenya Coulter is currently still hospitalized and we are seeking the location of Shuanteka Coulter for Domestic Battery 1st degree, a felony.
    We encourage Coulter to turn herself into local law enforcement and allow this situation to be handled in court, however if you have knowledge of Coulter’s location please call (903) 798 3154 and ask to speak to Sgt. Briggs or call 911.
