Community members are invited to enjoy an evening of food, music, and giving back as the Second Annual “Pork on a Fork” fundraiser returns on Saturday, April 18.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rammage Farms, bringing together two local organizations with a shared mission of supporting individuals with disabilities.
Hosted by Runnin WJ Ranch and Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, Inc., the fundraiser aims to raise awareness and financial support for programs that enrich the lives of those they serve.
Attendees can expect a full evening of activities, including a barbecue meal, live music from the Hailey Wright Band, and a silent auction. Organizers say the event is designed to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while making a meaningful impact in the community.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit both organizations, helping them continue their work providing services, resources, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities across the Texarkana area.
In addition to community attendance, organizers are encouraging local businesses and individuals to participate as sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities are available for those looking to support the cause while gaining visibility within the community.
“This is a great chance to come together, enjoy some amazing food and music, and most importantly, support two organizations that do so much for our community,” an event representative said.
Organizers say they hope to build on the success of last year’s event and make this year’s fundraiser even bigger.
