T.A.P.D. to Conduct Active Shooter Drills at Arkansas Schools

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department will be conducting “Active Shooter Drills” at Texarkana Arkansas Schools during the week of March 14.

From a TAPD Press Release:

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Special Operations Section will be conducting active shooter drills with the Texarkana Arkansas School District the week of March 14 as required by Arkansas State Law.  These drills will be conducted on all campuses in the Arkansas School District and allow the district to test the RAVE alert system with Central Dispatch.  Anyone with questions or concerns about these drills please contact Cpl. Les Munn with the Special Operations Unit or School Security Director Billy Jones.
