Texarkana Texas Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on the intersection of Waterman and Milam this morning. One man was shot, and police are searching for a suspect.

At approximately 9:51 AM the Texarkana Texas Police Department responded to shots fired near the intersection of Waterman St. and Milam St. Upon arrival Officers located a 27 year old black male of Texarkana, Texas, one block north of the intersection with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Witnesses described the suspect as a black male in a silver four door car. The suspect fled in the vehicle prior to officer’s arrival. Crime Scene Technicians and Detectives are currently processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
