Authorities are currently investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday evening on Orleans Street.
According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD), officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting in the 400 block of Orleans Street at approximately 5:41 p.m. on March 12, 2025. Before officers arrived, dispatch was notified that a male victim had already been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon arrival, officers located multiple spent cartridge casings in the roadway and secured the scene to preserve evidence. Detectives from TAPD’s Criminal Investigation Division arrived shortly after to take over the investigation.
At this time, no suspect information has been released. The case remains under active investigation.
