This is the fourth year for Texarkana’s Juneteenth Parade and festivities around the event are growing. This year enjoy the parade, an R&B Show, Food Trucks, Vendors of fashions, foods, crafts, and a lot for the kids to enjoy on Saturday, June 15.
Activities are free to the community and will begin at 3:00 pm on Front Street Plaza with a gathering for the opening ceremonies with community leaders. Entries will line up for the parade at 4:00 pm on Broad Street. There will be a kid’s playland for the children.
Great entertainment is scheduled with TK Soul & Donnie Ray, Michael Rhodes, and The Jive Band with Kia McGee… (bring your lawn chairs and mosquito spray.) DJ Holleygrove will be on scene and the music begins at 5:00 pm with closing set for 10:00 pm.
