Time to get out and have some fun. Our community partners at Tony Langford Roofing and Whiskey River Country Club bring you this list of the best live entertainment in Texarkana the weekend of September 11 & 12.
This weekend will be HOT, but cooler weather is on the way… or that’s what we are told!
9/11 Memorial Service — Friday, September 11: Join us at 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center in Texarkana, Texas, as we remember the lives lost 25 years ago in the largest attack on American soil since December 7, 1941. We’ll honor those who perished in the attacks and the service members who followed them into the resulting War on Terror. ALL are invited to attend. If you served as a firefighter, law enforcement officer, or in any branch of the military—including the Coast Guard—during the attacks and their aftermath, you’re invited to come share your story. It’s a time to remember, honor, and never forget.
Back to Class Bash at Runnin’ WJ Ranch — Saturday, September 12: Head out to Runnin’ WJ Ranch from 2–4 p.m. for a family-friendly open house celebrating the ranch’s 25th riding season! Located at 4802 South Kings Highway, the Back to Class Bash is a great opportunity to meet the horses, tour the ranch, learn more about equine therapy, enjoy refreshments, and discover the incredible work happening at Runnin’ WJ Ranch. Everyone is welcome, so bring the family and come celebrate 25 years of helping people through the healing power of horses!
