For those eager to immerse themselves in the eclipse experience, a range of ticketed events is on offer throughout the weekend leading up to the main event. On Friday, April 5, attendees can embark on tours of the historic Perot Theatre at 12 pm, catch a performance of “Little Shop of Horrors” at Silvermoon on Broad at 7 pm, groove to the Four States Fair Monster Mash at 7 pm, or find inner peace with Prodigy Life Glow Yoga at 7 pm. Later in the evening, music enthusiasts can enjoy performances by Chace Rains at Hopkins Icehouse at 8 pm or Pat Green at Crossties at 8 pm.
Saturday, April 6, brings another opportunity to catch “Little Shop of Horrors” at Silvermoon on Broad, with shows at 2 pm and 5 pm, alongside the highly anticipated Four States Fair & Rodeo. Music aficionados won’t want to miss the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra Tribute to Pink Floyd at the Perot Theatre at 7 pm, while Southern Soul & Blues await at Crossties. Those seeking a more eclectic experience can groove to Solar Wubs at Hopkins Icehouse or catch Devil’s Doorbell at Wild Hare at 9 pm, followed by DJ Alex at The Hideout at 9 pm.
Sunday, April 7, offers a continuation of “Little Shop of Horrors” at Silvermoon on Broad, with shows at 2 pm and 5 pm, alongside the ongoing Four States Fair & Rodeo. For a laid-back evening, attendees can join the Sunday Funday Benefit at Crossties at 4 pm or enjoy the Sunset Sinners’ performance on The Loading Dock at 6:30 pm.
As the much-anticipated eclipse approaches on Monday, April 8, Texarkana gears up for Total Eclipse of the Art at Prodigy Life at 1 pm, followed by the final showing of “Little Shop of Horrors” at Silvermoon on Broad at 5 pm.
