Jason Scott Estes, 30, of Texarkana pleaded guilty to two counts of Sexual Assault of a 14-year-old girl. The just opted to give Estes the maximum sentence allowed by law on each count.
Estes will serve two 20 year sentences for the sexual assault of the child, now 16 years of age. 5th District Judge Bill Miller ordered that the sentences will run concurrently. The jury also decided that Estes will pay $5,000 for each count of sexual assault of the victim.
Upon his release from prison Estes will have to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
