Texarkana Texas Parks & Recreation is bringing back its Fall Movies in the Park series, giving families an opportunity to enjoy free movies outdoors at Spring Lake Park.
The 2026 series will kick off Thursday, October 8, with “Toy Story 5.” Two additional movies are scheduled for the following Thursdays.
The 2026 Fall Movies in the Park lineup includes:
October 8: Toy Story 5
October 15: Casper
October 22: The Original “The Town That Dreaded Sundown”
(Just skip the 2014 version, it’s horrible, and even worse, I’m in it.)
All movies will begin at dusk at Spring Lake Park, across from the airplane.
Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to get comfortable on the grass. Bug spray may also be a good idea for an evening outdoors.
Concessions will be available for purchase during the events.
Admission is FREE, making the Fall Movies in the Park series an easy opportunity for families to enjoy a movie night together.
