Texarkana Police Searching for Buried Remains of 5-week-old Boy

With the help of ground-penetrating sonar from EquuSearch and cadaver dogs, police have narrowed their search for the remains of a 5-week-old child that the mother may have buried at a local apartment complex when she lived there in 2013.

    Media Release:

We are at The Oaks at Rosehill this afternoon looking for the body of a 5 week old boy who may have been buried here back in late 2013. This all came to light after a woman was arrested for Capital Murder in Temple Texas when two of her children died from neglect in October. During the course of that investigation, detectives there learned that another one of her children may have died in Texarkana and was buried behind the apartment building.

We were able to narrow our search to this area with the help of cadaver dogs and a ground penetrating sonar unit provided by EquuSearch.

We’ve not found anything yet and, quite honestly, hope this story was all made up and didn’t really happen. But, if it did, we are doing everything possible to do right by this little boy.
