The Texarkana Texas Police is seeking any information on the location of Rodney Lindley, 40. Lindley is a suspect in a murder that occurred this afternoon on Alexander Street. If you have any information please contact TTPD.
Police responded to the call a little after 5:00 p.m. on Alexander Street in Texarkana, Texas on Wednesday. Police found Mercedes Young, 30 suffering from a gunshot wound. Ms. Young was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The shooter fled before police arrived at the scene.

Detectives have obtained a warrant for murder for Rodney Lindley, 40, of Texarkana Texas. He fled the scene before officers arrived, and we are still looking for him.
This is the first homicide in Texarkana Texas this year.
