The Texarkana Public Library is marking a century of service to the community with an elegant celebration next week. The Texarkana Public Library Centennial Gala will take place Friday, December 12, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Historic TRAHC Building located at 321 W. 4th Street in Texarkana, Texas.
The evening will honor 100 years of literacy, learning, and cultural enrichment in Texarkana. Guests can expect a warm, festive atmosphere featuring delicious food, lively entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with friends, neighbors, and community leaders.
Organizers say the gala is not only a look back at the library’s rich history but also a celebration of its bright future. The event brings together supporters who believe in the importance of education, accessibility, and lifelong learning.
The library is still welcoming sponsors who want to be part of this milestone occasion and highlight their commitment to strengthening education and community growth in Texarkana.
