The Texarkana Texas Department of Parks and Recreation have announced plans to replace playground equipment at area parks in the city. The project is set to begin on Monday, April 3.
The project is expected to take 5 weeks if the weather cooperates.

We will begin updating/replacing playgrounds at our City Parks beginning Monday, April 3rd. The entire project should take approximately 5 weeks (weather permitting). We will start at Ferguson Park on Texas Blvd. and then move to Spring Lake Park, Wallace Park and then the remaining neighborhood parks. Please be patient while we make these improvements.
