Texarkana’s 9th Annual ‘Bark at the Park’ Set for November 1 at Spring Lake Park

The City of Texarkana, Texas will host the 9th Annual Bark at the Park event on Saturday, November 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park, located inside Spring Lake Park near the Mall Drive entrance.

Pet owners are invited to bring their furry friends for a morning of fun and free services. Dogs and cats will receive free rabies vaccinations and city registrations, with additional vaccinations available for a minimal fee. All paperwork and vaccinations will be handled on-site for convenience.

Organizers ask that all dogs be kept on leashes and cats remain securely in carriers throughout the event to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.

The event is open to all pet owners, including those who live outside the Texarkana, Texas city limits. Out-of-town residents may also obtain a city registration for their pets; however, that registration will not replace local requirements if their city has its own pet licensing policy.

The Bark at the Park event has become a community favorite over the years, promoting responsible pet ownership and public health while offering a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere at one of Texarkana’s most popular parks.

For more information, contact the City of Texarkana, Texas Animal Services Department.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
