Former Pleasant Grove standout and University of Wyoming Cowboys Linebacker Lucas Wacha will remain a Cowboy but for the NFL in Dallas Texas. So, that means the Wacha brothers from Texarkana could both be pro athletes with Lucas as a linebacker in the NFL and brother Michael pitching for the Cardinals in the MLB.
Many questioned the judgment of the Cowboys organization when they did not pick up any linebackers in the recent NFL draft. Wacha, who has been playing for the Wyoming Cowboys during his collegiate career signed with the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday as an undrafted free agent and looks forward to getting closer to home. Many experts believe Wacha will have no problems at all proving himself at the Cowboys Training Camp, and we are rooting for him!
