Texas Governor Greg Abbott has issued orders to re-close bars in the state and roll back capacity inside restaurants as positive cases of COVID 19 surge across the state. Thursday the Governor “paused” phased reopening of businesses in the state, but this goes a bit further.
Bars across the state of Texas are required to close at noon on Friday, June 26, the order states bars may remain open for take-out and delivery of alcoholic beverages.
Restaurants will have to roll back capacity to 50% starting Monday, June 29.
Outdoor gatherings of 100 or more people will have to be approved by local governments, with certain exceptions.
