What has become the most popular seasonal feature in downtown Texarkana is the Christmas Tree Forest at Crossties on Broad Street. Now is the time to get your tree and start decorating for some awesome prizes.
For the past few years, the folks at Crossties in downtown Texarkana have raised money for the Hold on to Your Britches Foundation with Christmas Trees that are sponsored by local businesses, churches, civic organizations, individuals, etc. As Christmas gets a little closer judges will decide the best-decorated trees for prizes, but it has always been more than prizes and more about the joy that it brings to the many families that have visited the trees, especially on the nights that Ol’ Santa Claus is there!
