Pickleball players from across the region will soon have a chance to compete right here in Texarkana as the Red River Credit Union Twin City Classic Pickleball Tournament returns May 15–17.
Hosted by the Texarkana Pickleball Club, the tournament will take place at the Southwest Center, located at 3222 West 7th Street, and is expected to draw both local competitors and out-of-town players for a full weekend of competition and community engagement.
Organizers say the goal is to attract approximately 150 players and deliver a top-tier tournament experience for participants of all skill levels.
Early registration is strongly encouraged, as out-of-town competitors often look at participation numbers before committing to travel.
“This is a great opportunity for our local players to step up and represent Texarkana, while also helping us showcase our growing pickleball community,” organizers noted.
The Twin City Classic continues to build momentum as pickleball remains one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, with increasing interest across all age groups.
