    Media Release:

About 1:30 on Sunday morning, we got a 911 call about a vandalism to a car in the Highland Park neighborhood. Someone had spray painted some disgusting sexual drawings and racial comments all over the car. As officers were checking the area to see if they could find whoever did it, they discovered at least ten other vehicles and a house that had similar messages spray painted on them too. We later found out that there were also several more vehicles on the Arkansas side that had the same thing done to them.
Ultimately, we were able to identify Taylor Carrell, 22, of Bloomburg, and Charlie Dillard, Jr., 17, of Longview, as the ones responsible for all of this. They came to the police department to turn themselves in and were booked into the Bi-State Jail for felony Criminal Mischief over $2,500. Both were released on Monday afternoon after each posting a $30,000 bond.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
