Before the aircraft ever take to the skies Saturday afternoon, one of Texas Country music’s biggest names will take the stage.
Texas Country standout Wade Bowen is set to headline the musical portion of the 2026 Texarkana Airshow on Saturday, June 27, bringing an afternoon concert experience to what is already shaping up to be one of the region’s biggest summer events. Music begins at 12:00 p.m., leading into aerial performances later in the day.
Bowen has built a loyal following across Texas and the Red Dirt music scene during a career spanning more than two decades. Known for songs including Songs About Trucks, Saturday Night, and Who I Am, Bowen’s live shows have become a staple of fairs, festivals, and outdoor events across the country. His appearance gives the Texarkana Airshow a festival atmosphere long before engines start and aircraft begin rolling.
Saturday’s entertainment lineup opens with Heather Linn & The Deacons at 12:00 p.m., followed by Cam Allen at 1:15 p.m., before Bowen closes out the concert portion beginning at 2:45 p.m. Air entertainment is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue into the evening.
The event is more than an airshow. Organizers have planned a full-day experience including food vendors, activities, rides, competitions, and live entertainment designed to keep attendees on-site throughout the day. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. at Texarkana Regional Airport.
With live Texas Country music, summer heat, and aircraft preparing to fill the sky later in the afternoon, Saturday could become one of Texarkana’s hottest events of the year — and not just literally.
