What’s Inside: Painting with a Twist [PHOTOS]

We follow Painting with a Twist – Texarkana and had been wanting to experience the place and see if we could create a masterpiece of our own. So, when we saw a pic of one of the paintings they teach you to do jumped out at us, I made a call. I am so glad i did, because it was truly enjoyable with a little bit of paint, a little bit of wine, and a bunch of fun.

We were greeted with friendly faces, all smiles, and you could tell that they really love what they do. They made us feel welcome and even singing songs from the playlist they had going in the studio we were using. They had work spaces all ready for the artists that would be participating in the painting for this class, “Pure Shores”.

So you start with a blank canvas… and our instructor, Mrs. Heather Bishop, takes you step by step… takes a bit to get used to how you can use the brushes. Don’t get frustrated, have fun. If you take anything from this… HAVE FUN!

So here, is how my painting went… but first let me say that Heather Bishop is a super artist and a fantastic, and fun instructor,.. and that I am not a good student. 🙂

We had such a great group of artists, and the room was so much fun with people laughing, some folks had wine, a couple had margaritas… they know who they are (wink).
