Remember the date, December 29, 2021, the day it rained fish on parts of Texarkana. When folks say the weather has been weird lately, it just seems to get that much more strange. Our local vlogger Ramblin’ Ted got some video.
A rare phenomenon of weather where small fish, frogs, and such close to the surface of a body of water are picked up by a strong wind, or water spout and dropped to the ground with heavy rains. This happened in parts of Texarkana on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
With the areas reported to have experienced this, we can only speculate that the fish must have come from a body of water in town, and the only place we can think of is Spring Lake Park. (????)
