Pandemic planning for the Holidays has introduced many new factors to consider, the result being that there won’t be as many places serving free Thanksgiving Day meals in 2020, but here is some information to help those less fortunate.
Thanksgiving, a time when we reflect on all of the things we are grateful for, and most celebrate with a big meal. This year, Randy Sam’s Outreach Shelter will be serving boxed Thanksgiving meals to-go at the Shelter on W. 4th Street from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Hungry will not be turned away.
The shelter is always in need and will always be able to take your donations, or if you would like to volunteer, reach out to them at 903.792.7024.
Here is a list of some of the local restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving Day:
- Whataburger locations
- Cracker Barrel
- Dennys locations
- Golden Corral
- Hopkins Icehouse
- Fat Jacks
- Waffle House
Call ahead to make sure of the hours of operation on Thursday.
We are sure we have not listed all that will be open, add your place in the comments or contact us at email@example.com.
