Sending the kids back to school or home-schooling? If you are going with some form of “distance-learning”, don’t let physical education, and athletics training slip. Coach Dave at XLR8 Athletix has a number of programs, see which one is right for your family’s needs.
Media Release:
Many schools are offering the option for parents to do “distance learning” for their children if they don’t feel comfortable sending their children to school while the COVID-19 pandemic is still active. It’s important to remember to include physical education in your child’s homeschool curriculum. Physical activity and social interaction are critical to the health and development of school-aged children. That’s why XLR8 Athletix is offering P.E. classes to distance learning children.
Get moving! Supplement your homeschooling curriculum with XLR8 P.E. Keep your children active while distance learning with a fun and high-energy “sweat curriculum.” XLR8 P.E. is a club-house style class that provides an outlet for your child’s energy. Instructor, and former pro baseball player, Dave Welch functions as more than a coach to his students. He aims to be a role model and mentor for the children in his classes.
Classes for children in 1st grade through 6th grade meet twice weekly at 1:00 p.m., and students in 7th through 12th grade meet twice weekly at 2:00 p.m. This program begins August 17, 2020, and will run for 10 weeks. It’s just $450 for this 10-week program, or $350 if you sign up your child before July 28, 2020. Space is limited, so don’t wait to sign up your child for this program.
Dave and the XLR8 team are going to great lengths to ensure your children’s safety while they are at XLR8 P.E. Each child will have their temperature checked when they come in for class. Each coach at XLR8 will be wearing a mask during class, and masks will be optional for athletes. Equipment will be cleaned thoroughly after each workout and social distancing will be enforced even in their limited class size.
