The 45th annual Hope Watermelon Festival is set for August 5-7, 2021. This year’s theme is “All Juiced Up” and all of the fun and excitement of the festival will be just that! Here are some of the details for this year.
Hosted by the Hope Arkansas Chamber of Commerce, one of the most favorite festivals in southwest Arkansas returns in 2021 with all of the fun and activities we love. The schedule of entertainment and events is still being worked out. We do wonder with all that we’ve been through over the last 18 months, will there be “seed spitting”?

There are melon contests of all sorts planned for all ages, a kids fun zone, concessions, vendors, exhibitors, arts/crafts, car show, 5K run/walk & melon mile, Watermelon Olympics, headline concert, dog show, civic club dinners, Baggo tournament, softball tournament, festival treasure hunt, rubber duck waddle, antique engine demonstrations, money in the haystack, AND ice cold melons each & every day!
