    9th Annual Turkey Trot to be Held at Spring Lake Park November 24

    Time for the 9th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K in Texarkana at Spring Lake Park early on Thanksgiving day for Community Healthcore Foundation. This year’s event is in special memory of Jeanelle Cannon, Turkey Trot Event Founder.

    We would like to cordially invite you to participate in our 9th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

    The 9th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk will be dedicated in memory of Jeanell Cannon, Turkey Trot event founder. This year’s theme is “Jogging for Jeanell”.

    The race will take place at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana with registration starting at 7:30 A.M. and the race starting at 8:30 A.M.

    Your participation and/or donation to this event raises essential funds for Community Healthcore programs to help adults, children, and families with mental illnesses, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve DIGNITY, INDEPENDENCE, and their DREAMS.

    The event is always a lot of fun with so many different groups, businesses, churches, and more getting involved over the years. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Community Healthcore Foundation, we all agree that our community needs more help with mental health, so here is a great opportunity for you to help!
