The show must go on for the children of St.Jude’s according to Neal Jones, organizer of the Talimena Rally, one of the biggest annual motorcycle events in Texarkana. In the last 8 years, the ride has been able to raise more than $200,000. This year will have some restrictions, but the ride takes place this weekend.
Registration is Thursday, May 21 with events scheduled for Friday, May 22 and the big party at Scotties Grill with the Dusty Rose Band is Saturday night.
Neal Jones visited with us about some of the changes being made with directives to maintain social distancing and for meal and event stops on the ride, working with the 50 people gathering rules, but riders are coming from all across the four states region.
