It is official, the 2020 Dragon Boat Festival for Texarkana is cancelled due to concerns with the spread of COVID 19. The event was originally scheduled for May and was hoping to reschedule but with numbers of illnesses continuing to rise, it has been decided to cancel for this year, and be back in 2021.

As of this week the Board of HandsOn Texarkana decided to cancel this year’s Dragon Boat Festival because of Coronavirus concerns. Since Covid cases in Texas have risen, this difficult decision has been made for the safety of everyone.
Save the date: May 22, 2021 – HandsOn Texarkana has been proud to provide this fun competition annually and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!
