    11-6-2020 – Updated Texarkana COVID 19 Numbers

    Currently, in Bowie County, there are 676 active cases of COVID 19, with 68 active cases in Cass County, and 157 cases in Miller County. For all COVID related questions or concerns visit coronatxk.org, or call the local hotline at 903.255.5560.

    BOWIE – Total 2,225 positive cases, 1,462 recoveries, and 87 deaths.
    MILLER – Total 1,380 positive cases, 1,207 recoveries, and 16 deaths
    CASS – Total 581 positive cases, 485 recoveries, and 28 deaths

    Media Release:

    TEXARKANA, TX— Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports 72 new cases since Thursday, November 5, 2020 for a total of 2,225 positive COVID-19 cases, with 87 deaths. The Department of State Health Services is reporting 1,462 recoveries. There are currently 676 active cases in Bowie County.

    Cass County added 3 new cases and currently has 581 total, with 485 of those recovered, and 28 fatalities. Cass County currently has 68 active cases.

    Through the end of the year, free testing will be offered Monday- Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Texarkana- Bowie County Family Health Center at 902 W. 12th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. There are no requirements for testing (residency included), oral swab with results in 48-96 hours, and pre-registration available at www.gogettested.com.
