    11-12-2020 – Updated Texarkana COVID 19 Numbers

    Currently, in Bowie County, there are 557 active cases of COVID 19, with 77 active cases in Cass County, and 132 active cases in Miller County. For all COVID related questions or concerns visit coronatxk.org, or call the local hotline at 903.255.5560.

    BOWIE – Total 2,343 positive cases, 1,699 recoveries, and 87 deaths.
    MILLER – Total 1,443 positive cases, 1,295 recoveries, and 16 deaths
    CASS – Total 655 positive cases, 546 recoveries, and 32 deaths

    (We are encouraging everyone to get their flu vaccination. With both COVID & FLU being potentially deadly, we know the flu vaccine works and would hate for someone to have to suffer from both at the same time. Flu shots are available at many places, including the Bowie County Health Clinic at 902 W. 12th in Texarkana, Texas.)

    TEXARKANA, TX— Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports 56 new cases since Wednesday, November 11, 2020 for a total of 2,343 positive COVID-19 cases, with 87 deaths. The Department of State Health Services is reporting 1,699 recoveries. There are currently 557 active cases in Bowie County.

    Cass County added 20 new cases and currently has 655 total, with 546 of those recovered, and 32 fatalities. Cass County currently has 77 active cases.

    Through the end of the year, free testing will be offered Monday- Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Texarkana- Bowie County Family Health Center at 902 W. 12th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. There are no requirements for testing (residency included), oral swab with results in 48-96 hours, and pre-registration available at www.gogettested.com.
