Planning the ‘KLFI-TV 35 Showcase’ for December 11 in Downtown

On Saturday, December 11, the KLFI-TV Showcase features a day full of family entertainment in downtown Texarkana with a Street Party at 4th and Wood Streets. Pro-wrestling, live music, huge cosplay contests, food trucks, and a lot more.

KLFI-TV is making the move into a new building at 111 E. 4th Street and real close to launching 6 new channels from here in Texarkana. For Wes Crenshaw, the new owner of the station, focusing on the community is a big priority, and what better way than a big get-together downtown.

The KLFI-TV 35 Showcase will feature 2 dozen pro wrestlers, bands, food trucks, cosplay, e-sports, and more. We visit with our friend Jesse Tillis about HYPE, the cosplay contests, and more.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
