This Friday afternoon from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in downtown Texarkana at the corner of 3rd Street and Hazel, it is the annual “Bridge City Chili Cookoff hosted by the Texarkana Homeless Coalition. This is one of what we refer to as “The Big 3” for Chili Cookoffs in Texarkana.
Funds raised from this annual event are used to coordinate the many programs and services available to the homeless in Texarkana to provide more than a handout but to provide a hand up. With housing services, educational programs, and job training programs.
Come enter your best chili and join the Texarkana Homeless Coalition for a night of awareness and fun!
