    As the weekend approaches, Texarkana is gearing up for a fantastic lineup of events and live music, all made possible thanks to our generous friends at Whiskey River Country Club, Tony Langford Roofing, and Crossties. Whether you’re seeking adventure, a musical night out, or a chance to support a good cause, there’s something for everyone in our vibrant community.

    Saturday, October 21:

    Katina R. Levingston Tough Kookie Breast Cancer Race:

    Start your Saturday on a high note with the 3rd annual Katina R. Levingston Tough Kookie Breast Cancer Race. The event begins at 8:00 a.m. at Texas A&M University Texarkana, where you can join others in showing support for breast cancer awareness. Lace up those running shoes and make a difference.

    We Are Messengers “Where the Joy Is” Tour: DETAILS HERE

    In the evening, prepare to be moved by the renowned Christian band, We Are Messengers. They’ll be performing as part of their “Where the Joy Is” tour at the Pleasant Grove Performing Arts Center. The show commences at 6:00 p.m. It’s a night of powerful music and uplifting messages that are sure to resonate with all who attend.

    Live Music:

    For music lovers, Texarkana offers a wide array of live music events to choose from on Friday, October 20. Here’s what’s on the lineup:

    • Honey at Whiskey River Country Club: Get your dose of country tunes with the talented band Honey at Whiskey River Country Club.
    • Majestic Jazz at the Banana Club: If you’re in the mood for smooth jazz, the Banana Club presents Majestic Jazz for a delightful musical experience.

    • Mo Betta Band at La Fogata’s: Groove to the tunes of the Mo Betta Band at La Fogata’s, where you can enjoy live music while savoring delectable dishes.
    • Jake Tankersly at Fat Jacks: Jake Tankersly takes the stage at Fat Jacks for a night of live music that’s sure to entertain.

    On Saturday, October 21, there’s more live music to enjoy:

    • Wyatt Putman at Whiskey River Country Club: Wyatt Putman will be entertaining the crowd at Whiskey River Country Club.
    • Tracy Davis at The Banana Club: Tracy Davis returns for another evening of delightful music at The Banana Club.

    • Lane Bricker at Redbone Magic Brewing: Coming home for a great night of great tunes.
    • Richard Cook/Elvis at La Fogatas: The King will be putting on the show.
    • David Howe & The Howelers at 67 Landing: David Howe & The Howelers take the stage at 67 Landing for a memorable musical experience.
