Friday, April 5, marks the start of the festivities with Texarkana Emergency Center and Hospital Weekend. Carnival-goers can purchase Unlimited Ride Bands at the ticket booth for just $35 per day, granting them access to unlimited fun on the midway. The evening’s entertainment heats up with the Monster Mash Truck Tour, starting at 7 PM, followed by a high-energy performance from the As You Were Army Band on the outdoor stage.
Saturday, April 6, sees the carnival on the midway opening at 10 AM, with another opportunity to grab Unlimited Ride Bands for $35 per day. As the sun sets, adrenaline junkies won’t want to miss the Demolition Derby, with gates opening at 6 PM and the action kicking off at 7 PM. Later in the evening, country music fans can groove to the tunes of Lane Bricker on the outdoor stage.
Sunday, April 7, is Senior Day, with special offerings for seniors aged 55 and older. The fair opens at 1 PM, and thanks to Dierksen Hospice Senior Citizens Day, all seniors receive free admission. The Moss Brothers Band will take to the outdoor stage at 3 PM, promising a memorable afternoon of live music.
Monday, April 8, brings Eclipse Day, with the Four States Fair and AMP Carnival opening early at 9 AM. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to witness the total solar eclipse and snag free eclipse glasses for the first 5,000 attendees. Later in the evening, Anthony Price and the Southern Front Band will take center stage, entertaining crowds with performances at 6:30 PM and 8 PM.
Tuesday, April 9, is Dollar Day, offering affordable fun for all. Gate admission is just $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 6-12, with carnival rides priced at only $1 each. Rewind the Band will provide the evening’s entertainment on the outdoor stage, with performances at 7 PM and 8:30 PM.
Wednesday, April 10, brings Wacky Wednesday, featuring a $5 discount off a $25 armband purchase at the AMP Carnival, which opens at 5 PM. While no specific act is slated for the outdoor stage, visitors can expect surprises and wacky fun throughout the evening.
Wrapping up the week on Thursday, April 11, is Healthcare Express Day and Back the Badge Night. First responders and healthcare professionals can enjoy free admission to the Fair, plus discounted armbands for unlimited rides with proper ID. Additionally, Cavender’s Night at the Rodeo offers free admission for kids 12 and under with a paying adult, starting at 6 PM, with the rodeo commencing at 7:30 PM.
