First, a huge shoutout to everyone who came together to plan, execute, or enjoy “Solarbration TXK 2024” in downtown Texarkana with the Solar Eclipse last Monday. The bands, the food, the fun, and the good Lord gave us just enough blue sky for an amazing show that most will never see. People from all over the country were here in Texarkana. There was a constant line down the street for folks getting their photos in front of the Federal Courthouse. Truly, all of the volunteers from both sides of the street… thank you!

The Kennel Club of Texarkana has a cool event lined up this weekend, Muttworks on 7th Street will be hosting Texarkana’s first “Fast Cat Event”… which turns out is dog races. Open to all breeds on Saturday and Sunday at the Muttworks Compound on 7th Street, for more information call 903.733.5924.
Juggalo Johnny’s annual Car Show is happening on Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at The Warehouse located at 614 E. 7th Street.
