The stage is set for a memorable evening of music and philanthropy as the 19th Annual Songwriters on the Edge of Texas Golf Tournament and Concert gears up to support CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center (TCAC). This year’s theme, “Tacos and Tunes,” promises to blend Texan hospitality with musical delights.
The event kicks off with a concert featuring Cody Canada and The Departed, with Trey Johnson opening the show on Sunday, September 22 at 5:00 pm. Music enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their tickets online for what promises to be an unforgettable night under the stars.
Organizers expressed gratitude to the presenting sponsors whose generosity has made the event possible: Greg Orr Auto, Heritage Home Health and Hospice, Ledwell and Sons, and Rogers Equipment and Construction. Their support underscores a shared commitment to the mission of CASA for Children and TCAC, which have collectively served the Texarkana community for over 30 years.
“CASA for Children and TCAC provide crucial services to children and families affected by abuse or neglect in Greater Texarkana,” said a spokesperson for the organizations. “Through our combined efforts, we strive to bring hope, healing, and justice to those who need it most.”
