    Press Release:

At approximately 5:30pm today, Texarkana Arkansas Police were called to the Salvation Army at 316 Hazel St. in response to a stabbing. While investigating the call, officers learned that a male, who was reported by witnesses to have just stabbed another man in the chest, had left the scene walking north. Another witness followed the suspect from the scene and reported that the man was walking north on N. State Line Ave. and had crossed into Texarkana, Texas. Texarkana, Arkansas police responded and located Billy Joe Mitchell, 43 years of age, walking north.
