The Texarkana Veterans Council is proud to host the city’s annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 9, 2024. The parade, honoring military service members, will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Hazel Street, with lineup starting at 9:30 a.m.
This year’s theme, “Women in the Military,” will highlight the vital contributions of women in armed services throughout history. All local organizations, businesses, schools, churches, and civic groups are invited to participate in this celebration.
To register your group, contact 870-632-9145 or 619-405-4290. This event is made possible with support from several local veterans’ organizations, including American Legion Posts 25-58, DAV Chapter 222, Marine Corps League Det. 1149, VFW Post 4562, and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 278.
