Downtown Texarkana will transform into a winter wonderland for the annual “Christmas on Main” event, set to take place Saturday, December 21, in front of the historic Perot Theatre at 221 Main Street.
This holiday celebration will feature a special ice skating rink set up on Main Street, food trucks, carriage rides, carolers, and live music, along with a visit from the big elf himself, Santa Claus.
The ice rink will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with tickets priced at $5 per skater. Waivers are required, and the last skaters will be allowed on the ice at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy three holiday movie showings inside the Perot Theatre: “Frozen” at 10 a.m. ($6), “Rise of the Guardians” at 2 p.m. ($6), and the classic “White Christmas” at 7 p.m. ($8). A special Frozen Tea Party package for $30 includes admission and a post-movie tea with Elsa and Anna, while an All-Day Movie Pass is available for $15.
Tickets and packages will be available soon at perottheatre.org or through the box office. For further details, call 903-792-4992 or email info@perottheatre.org.
