Kahim Webster, the man wanted by the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) for the first-degree murder of a juvenile at the River Run Apartments, has been apprehended by U.S. Marshals in the Dallas, Texas area.
Webster, who was identified as the primary suspect in the October 22nd, 2024 murder, was the subject of a multi-agency manhunt after the crime. Despite the TAPD’s efforts to locate and apprehend him, Webster remained at large, prompting the department to request assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service’s Fugitive Task Force.
The U.S. Marshals, known for their expertise in tracking down and apprehending fugitives, quickly took action and initiated an investigation into Webster’s whereabouts. After extensive efforts and countless man-hours, the task force was able to locate and arrest Webster earlier today in the Dallas area.
The TAPD expressed gratitude for the collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Service, recognizing their significant role in bringing Webster to justice. “We are thankful to the U.S. Marshals for their dedication and expertise in this case. This arrest will hopefully bring some closure to the victim’s family and friends, who have been enduring this tragic loss,” said a statement from the department.

Webster is currently in custody, and further legal proceedings are expected to follow. The arrest marks a significant development in the investigation, which continues to unfold as authorities work toward ensuring justice for the victim.
