Saturday, March 29, is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. Join Texarkana Area Chapter #278 of the Vietnam Veterans of America on Saturday, March 29, 2025, to honor all who served during the Vietnam War. A special gathering takes place at the Korea/Vietnam Memorial (7th St. & State Line Ave.) from 5:00–6:30 PM, with a service at 5:00 PM followed by time to connect with fellow veterans. March 29, 1973, marks the day the last U.S. combat troops left Vietnam. This year also marks the 50th Commemoration of the Vietnam War. More information is available at TexarkanaFYI.com.
