Music lovers, get ready to feel the rumble—because the 2nd Annual Ark-La-Tex Battle of the Bands is bringing the heat back to downtown Texarkana on Saturday, September 20 in a showdown that promises big prize money and even bigger bragging rights.
Presented by Recovery Road Productions in partnership with Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, the electrifying competition will feature seven powerhouse performances across genres—from country and rock to blues, soul, and praise music. Each act takes the stage with one mission: win over the crowd and claim the title of the best in the Four States.
The battle will be hosted at Hopkins Icehouse, 301 E. 3rd Street, with food trucks, vendors, and plenty of cold drinks to keep the energy high. Organizers say the event is about more than music—it’s also about community impact.
“This is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of local talent and local purpose,” said a spokesperson from Recovery Road Productions. “We’re proud to partner with Texarkana Resources to bring music and mission together.”
Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, a nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities in the region, will benefit directly from the event. The organization provides skills training, job placement, and life-changing opportunities that strengthen families and the community as a whole.
