Texarkana families are invited to saddle up for a night of fall fun as Runnin’ WJ Ranch hosts its annual Boo at the Barn, a free, family-friendly community event filled with Halloween magic.
This year’s event promises something for everyone: hayrides through the ranch, festive games and activities, and plenty of candy for kids of all ages. One of the most anticipated traditions is the ranch’s decorated horse stalls, where families can wander through to collect treats, giveaways, and surprises from local businesses and organizations.
“Boo at the Barn is one of our favorite ways to bring the community together,” organizers shared. “It’s about making memories, connecting neighbors, and giving kids a safe, fun place to celebrate Halloween.”
The event is set to take place rain or shine, with the ranch’s indoor arena and horse barn providing plenty of space to keep the fun going no matter the weather.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved by decorating a stall and handing out candy, treats, or small prizes. It’s a unique opportunity to showcase community spirit while engaging with hundreds of families in a festive atmosphere.
