Amazon is putting the finishing touches on its new delivery station in Texarkana, and the company has officially opened the door for local job seekers.
The facility, designed as a last mile delivery hub to get packages directly to customers’ doorsteps, is expected to hire around 40 people at launch. Wages start at $18.50 per hour, with Amazon highlighting flexible schedules, full benefits, and what it calls a “welcoming workplace culture.”
While initial hiring is modest, company officials noted that the workforce could grow as operations expand.
