    Two Texas High Seniors Receive Top State Awards

    The Texas Association of Secondary Principals has selected two Texas High School seniors for their top state awards. Raga Justin for the All-State Academic Excellence Team and Ricky Cook is one of just 5 students in the state chosen for the Teens Serving Texas Award.

    Raga Justin and Ricky Cooks, Texas High School seniors, have been selected by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) for two of their top state awards.

    Raga Justin

    Raga Justin was one of twenty students in the state named as a member of the TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team.  This prestigious award was designed to recognize Texas high school seniors for their outstanding academic achievements and the rewards of superior scholarship.  She is the daughter of Jeff and Cheruba Justin.

    Ricky Cook

    Ricky Cook was one of five students in the state selected for the TASSP Teens Serving Texas Award.  This prestigious award was designed to recognize Texas high school seniors who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of community service, leadership and personal accomplishments.  He is the son of Sharon and Ricky Cook, Sr.

    Both will be awarded a $500 scholarship and formally recognized during the TASSP Summer Workshop in Austin, Texas on June 15, 2017.
