The Challenged Outdoorsmen of America Arkansas Chapter will be hosting the annual youth fishing derby at Bobby Ferguson Park in Texarkana Arkansas this Saturday, May 20, 2017. Registration begins at 8:30 am and the fishing begins at 9:00 am.
The youth fishing derby will be taking place on Lake Diffenbacher inside Bobby Ferguson Park near the Four States Fairgrounds. Open to all, participants must be 16 years of age or younger and a parent or guardian must be present. Participants must bring their own pole, and are asked to bring a lawn chair, fishing gear and bait. (Organizers will have some gear that can be shared, but supply is limited). In the case of bad weather, organizers will cancel the event and look to reschedule the derby for a later date to be determined at a later time.
