If you think you’re pretty good at catching catfish with a rod ‘n’ reel, get in on the 2017 Lake Wright Patman Catfish Tournament on Saturday, August 5th.
This tournament will be held at Knight’s Bluff boat ramp in Atlanta State Park, launching at 5:00 a.m. and weigh-in at 12:00 p.m. Rod’n’reels ONLY… any other methods will result in disqualification. Entry is $40 per two-man team, and then there is a $10 Big Fish Pot.
This is a 6-stringer tournament. Blues, Channel Cat, and Flat Heads are all allowed. Anglers may use the bait of their choice.
Cash only entries on the morning of the tournament, and the cut-off for entries will be 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Must be in weigh-in line by 12:00 a.m. Fish not alive at weigh-in will receive a penalty.
