With about 40 separate events across Texarkana Texas and Arkansas, and record community participation, National Night Out was celebrated across the area on Tuesday evening. We have some photos from the event at Ozan Iron Mountain Neighborhood Center and TAPD.
The Ozan Iron Mountain Neighborhood Center, located at 1101 Couch Street in Texarkana Arkansas, event was hosted by the Jamisons’ Center of Kindness, Inc. who provide their programs’ services to children at this facility. There was live entertainment, and performances by dance groups, DJ Godfather and the Stompers Drumline. Food and drinks were provided and the kids had a great time. Members of the Texarkana Arkansas Police & Fire Departments, along with other first responders were on hand to visit with neighbors.
