The 8th annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service is planned for 10:00 a.m. on May 11 at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center on Summerhill Road.
The men and women that put on the badge also put their lives on the line every day serving their communities. It is a sad fact that Texas led the nation in law enforcement deaths in 2015. Our local law enforcement officers, and their many supporters in the community, will set aside May 11 to remember those that gave their lives in the line of duty and to honor the men and women that continue to serve us all everyday. Make plans to attend the event at 10 a.m. on Wednesday May 11.
